“I mentioned that I wanted to work on the CNC machine and they trusted me to get on with it. I’ve now realised that it’s what I’m passionate about and now got a training plan in place for me to upskill as a Process Technician, in the first instance.”
Damian, Tube Shop
If you’re passionate about something, then we will help you learn and grow in that area
The combination of our new and old technology, and changes in customers needs, means everyday is an opportunity for our employees to experiment, learn and grow. We want everybody to have the opportunity to develop their skillset and responsibilities in the areas they are passionate about. And we aim to balance it with the right amount of freedom, guidance and training.
We’re in it together and every employee plays a part in what we achieve as a business.

It is also why we have an inclusive bonus scheme for all employees, pay premium overtime rates and offer a competitive salary and total remuneration package.
“We are an unusual SME and not your typical owners. We work along side the team, and pay everybody a bonus to recognise that they are the reason we achieve what we do as a business.”
Terry and Christian, Owners
“I was very surprised about how friendly everybody was, and how we are expected to look out for each other. I haven’t been used to that before.”
Barry, Coating Shop
Life’s too short not to have fun along the way.
We want Elmelin to be a place where you feel at home and accepted for who you are. Our focus is on helping each other out and we never miss an opportunity to celebrate and socialise, whether that is a birthday, a significant milestone, our summer BBQ or Christmas lunch.
There’s more to life than work.
We understand that life happens and we care about our employees and their families. This is why we take health and safety measures very seriously and go to great lengths to find ways to support and be flexible when and if needed.
“Terry stopped the production because somebody wasn’t wearing protective eye gear when handling the chemicals. Forget about the liability to us as a business for a moment. This is about somebody potentially losing their eyesight.”
Troy, Customer Service
